Where do you get prints made?
How do you make sure that the colors come out the same as you see on your PC?
How do you make sure that the quality/focus is as good as it looks on your PC?


Any other tips and advice in this area is appreciated!

I'm branching out into more freelance jobs involving portraits.

I need some advice from some experienced (any extent of experience, really).

I have want your opinions on things such as:


how to set up and complete a shoot, start to finnish
how much to charge
places to shoot when you don't have a studio (suggestions that might apply to me)
how long to promise photo turn around
what editing programs are best and most affordable
how did you learn/perfect your skills
what print service do you use
or do you just give them a cd and let them make prints
do you make them sign a model release
do they have your permission to post on facebook
how do photos look after you edit, and then print
what do you do if you see that someone has posted your photos on facebook & re-edited them



ok so if you can help with questions like these, let me know.
